Since an effective vaccine or treatment for COVID-19 is not yet available, it’s our job to manage the spread. Our goal is not just a flattened curve, but a flattened virus all together!
We can control how far and wide this virus can spread. No one person can cure COVID-19, but as a team, we can be the solution. We ask you to join the team of individuals making an intentional effort to win against the coronavirus.
It’s clear that if a patient has tested positive for COVID-19, they can spread the virus. It is also possible to spread the virus for up to 14 days before showing symptoms, so we recognize that everyone must take precautions.
The COVID Team is about improving our offense, by ramping up our defense. The evil plans of this tiny little virus are foiled by soap. It doesn’t stand a chance if we leave a little extra space. It’s easy to be on the team, but it takes intention.

“When I leave my home, I pledge to maintain a six-foot distance between myself and others. If I have to cough or sneeze, I will do so in my elbow or tissue then throw the tissue in the trash. I will wash my hands often.”
“I will not touch my face without washing my hands first. I will keep surfaces around me cleaned and disinfected. I will avoid close contact with people who are sick. I will think of others. I will check in on elderly people in my sphere of influence. If I am sick, I will stay home except to get medical care.”
